Compare elective choices by points and prerequisites

A specialist label must match the actual training plan.

Apply the packaging rules

120 elective points from Group A; up to 40 may be selected from a relevant nationally endorsed package or accredited course with appropriate context and vocational fit. Respect all prerequisites. Points are not hours.

Use the bank as a specification, not an availability list

The Release 6 specification contains 74 Group A entries. This does not establish that each unit is still current or available from every RTO. Ask for current mapping, prerequisites and the provider’s proposed elective set.

An asterisk in the qualification flags prerequisites. Read the unit’s complete expression, including any “or” choice, with the RTO before agreeing a sequence. Do not turn every alternative into an extra compulsory unit. Confirm imported-unit point values against the companion volume or RTO; do not assume every import is worth 10 points.
