27 core units and 120 elective points
The 27 core units contribute 990 points. Electives contribute 120 points, with up to 40 imported from a suitable nationally endorsed package or accredited course under the packaging rules. Check prerequisites and vocational fit.
The elective count depends on the chosen points, not a fixed number of units. The qualification still prescribes UETDRRF004 even though it is superseded. Obtain written RTO transition advice and regulator acceptance before accepting a replacement; this guide does not substitute another rescue code.

A listed unit is not always the latest unit
UETDRRF004 was replaced by non-equivalent UETDRMP007; UETDRMP007 was replaced by equivalent UETDRMP018 on 10 August 2025. Ask the RTO which unit, transition rule and licensing acceptance apply. Do not automatically swap units in the qualification list.
